Do you have evening appointments?
Can we visit before I commit to scheduling?
We offer a phone consultation that is free of charge and will allow us to make sure we are a good fit for each other.
Our counselors will inquire about your current situation and what you hope to gain from therapy. You will be able to ask questions, too, so you can make sure you are comfortable.
At the end of our conversation, we can decide how to proceed and if we want to schedule a session.
What insurances do you accept?
Our counselors are out-of-network providers, which means they do not accept insurance directly. We are happy to supply you with a monthly receipt called a “Superbill,” which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan and benefits.
The best way to find out if you have benefits is to call your insurance provider directly.
Regardless of the reimbursement claim’s outcome, payment is due in full at the time of service.
What if I must cancel my appointment?
We require a 24-hour notice to change or cancel an appointment without incurring a fee; otherwise, you will be charged a cancellation fee. If you fail to notify us and do not show for your appointment, you will be charged your counselors full session fee.
How long are the sessions?
Do you prescribe medication?
What is a typical session like?
Our sessions are a lot like a conversation with a friend without any judgment or shame. We will be getting to know one another, discuss your current struggles, and determine goals you would like to meet.
Sometimes, there is a symptom from which you need immediate relief and the whole session may be focused on that. Other times, we will focus on gaining insight into how your past may be affecting your present.
